I have never used test tones nor seen them used to tune a system unless you are going to use an o-scope. Pic a few of your favorit cd's, stuff you know well..........
Word, I tried to use them with a volt meter once and it definatly didn'tgo smoothly. OscopeFTW!!!

that really is the only time you tune a system with test tones, unless you like listening to them.....

10 hz and the Tempest, thats how I tune bitches! Of course at that point you tune by feel...



Sadly theres only about 5 people that know what im referring to when I say that.

The tuning depends on wheter or not you are hitting the "brown note"
