You only have that amp if you had the 6 speaker "Premium sound" upgrade. Mustangs with only four speakers didn't have that jewel.

Well I had no idea it was so close, although I think I remember seeing something there when I was trying to get the AMHU (after market head unit) to work. Not sure if you were talking to me, or if I mentioned this, but the jenson I have is old school, as is the car, so I figured for the first AMHU I would put something cheap, just in case it gets stolen. Besides, I'm not going for car show quality, and won't need to buy a complete system this way.

As far as the pre-outs go, I have several AMHU's with pre outs for the subs, a pioneer being the best one, which is in my dad's 96 jimmy. I will probably use the pioneer and put the alpine in the 5.0, or the other way around, whichever has the best for the 10" MTX thunder 5000 sub I have.

Oh, and about the 6 speakers, the ones in the back are severly covered.

I put some 6' woofers from a volvo in there, for bass, and they don't fit because they are just a tad bit too long, but what I'm mainly pointing out is that there is a metal grill directly after the speaker, and then the fabric of the car, along with some spider web like plastic pieces to support the corner, all adding more and more to blocking the sound from getting out of the enclosure.
I need to make a thread about what to do with those corner speaker covers, because they block WAY too much sound.
