I don't disagree with it. I think its great. Its just a waste of money in a coupe. If a cop sees you with a video playing in the front you can get a ticket, its against the law. I would prefer to have great audio with less emphasis on video. That setup will be equally as nice asthat panasonic unit.

I have had three friends with screens in the front and all three have had accidents becuase they were watching movies while driving.

I don't know why you are playin cdt speakers from a $70 dvd. I would scrap the DVD and monitor if you are not going to be able to get an even "OK" unit. Are those Dual subs?

How can you have a system mixing a cdt, ED, Boss and who ever made that dvd player? The audio selections are solid but I would rather squint at the car in front of me then install that stuff knowing I am gonna have to yank it later when it breaks, before or after the wreck?

It's not something crucial, it's there to be there and have something to watch.

You don't need 1080p in your car!

You don't need good video because your passengers won't complain and you shouldn't be watching.

The extra money should be used to upgrade the other components or get a double din unit with Navi like the Eclipse AVN 5500.

Have you ever watched movies in a car while driving. It is fricking dangerous. I do it in my buddies car and it is like playing Russian Roulette. Oh Preal, did you add the price of a radar detector in their cause he's going to need some warning before he gets a nice ticket.

Ya know what just forget it this is ridiculous. I understand the dangers and the laws. I came here for input on audio components and what would sound nice together not to get bitched at about what choice I decide to make concerning a dvd or not.

Well someone's a little grumpy. Preal is right though. I would get a detachable screen. You'll probably want it hooked up somewhere else anywho. You could also try and fit a game system in instead. That wouold be cool.
