Default What do I need for my sub?

First of all, lets start out at the beginning. I'm an idiot when it somes tocar audio.

I recently just bought this 15in Rockford Fosgate Power Punch off of my best friend. It came with the enclousure and everything, but now i need some information.

1:What kind of output (rms) do i need to push this?

2: Would i have any trouble hooking this up outside of my other 4 factory speakers?

3: Would a mono channel amp work if i just hook it up to the sub?

4: What can you tell me about this speaker (power ratings)?

5: What are the stock speaker sizes for a 95 gt coupe?

to answer question #2 no you shouldn't have any problems as long as you got someone who knows what they're doing with you then you should be alright

yeah, the box will fit fine intot he trunk of the car.

i have a head unit that is supposed to put out 25x4 rms (RFX9400) and i was wondering if i put aftermarket speakers that have a rating of something higher than 25rms (60rms is the rating for those im lookin at) would the 25 be enough to push them? Not unless you have a 2,500 farad one, nope. There's a few things in the Information/FAQ/Initiationsticky that will tell you why a cap is not needed, and a few things that can help out your electrical system.

i just read that article, should have read it before i started. so your probable laughing at me right now.
so im cuting out the cap and the rear speakers.

does that mean my HU will put out 50x2 to the doors?
will that be enough to push the 5x7s im puttin in there?
