stereo ???
i meant no rear full range speakers, not rear subs. there is a difference. having the speakers in the rear deck throws off your sound, unless you are running a 5.1 surround set-up. and MOST V6 guys don't have the money for that. SO for a simple two-channel system in a mustang, you do not need the rear 5x7s unless you are just using them for a little midbass.
ok the speakers all around are 6x8s and i have 2 6x8s and 2 6x9s in the back front is in the process of upgrades with tweeters in the stock side triangles. and to make this not only about speakers has anyone installed a new driver seat before. lol
p.s. you can get a box made that fits into the square behind the rear seats the make size for subs are 2 at 12" and still have room for 2 15" in the very back which is my plan.

you are right, you do not need rear full range speakers.
I also do not need a V-8 in my GT, no need for a cobra and a GT500 heck no but Iwould it as would most people. MOST people also happen to enjoy rear fill since it isthe way they are use to it and happen to enjoy it. Arguing that rear speaker will throw off your soundstage is a great argument to get into, AT AN AUDIO SHOW where people are trying to make a perfect soundstage. Getting on here and calling other people names doesn't help anything, just makes you look like aaudio tool. Last time I checked we have enough of those on here, don't be thatdude......

i was simply passing on information that i was given here. the cominus guy is a "know-it-all" in the V6 section and he called me out on this thread. i was tired of it and had Jefferson move it into the A/V section because most of the 6er guys don't know much about audio.
