Install Pics
Here are some pics of an install I did for a friend last weekend in his 05 G35 coupe.

Everything we were putting in the car.

Stock Dash

Stock Trunk

Taking the dash apart is always fun.

Sexy legs and sound deadening

Driver mounted in custom baffles.

Beginning the half false floor. (He wanted to keep as much trunk room as possible)

Recess for plexi and eventual neon underlighting.

Running Wires

Everything mounted with temporary sub enclousre. (Fiberglass for driver side well is on the way)

Eclipse Dual Din HU

A little DMB to get the system tuned. (EQ is flat)
There is still a little work to do.
1. Mount the crossovers a little higher.
2. Wire in the neons for the enclosure.
3. Mount the fiberglass sub box
4. Tie wires to bottom of amp enclosure .
5. Reconnect the antenna that came unplugged.
I personally wanted to do a complete false floor but my friend wanted to keep some trunk room.

The pocket on the left will have a fiberglass enclosure. I really wanted to do a complete false floor and cover it in grey vinyl, but my friend prefered to keep his little trunk space.
did the skyline dash as well too... I have worked on a couple of the G's and been pretty impressed with them. For an infinity they are fairly easy to take apart and run wires in. Looks good other then the false floor thing I have to agree with....

The G was a lot easier then a couple of other cars I've worked on.
that looks nice, but if he wanted to keep as much trunk space, i would have built the box like this:
just go from shock tower to shock tower:

sub in the middle, amp on each side and Xovers underneath. obviously this is rough, but this is how i plan to re-do my system. then cover the whole trunk with eD's black carpet.:

obviously he wouldn't be able to keep his trunk pass through, but IMO it looks more "complete" than the set-up now. i know you are moving the sub, but it doesn't look very balanced.
lol sorry to nit-pick. it does look really good now. just giving suggestions. i love the plexi over the amps though.
