Is this to much
I am running 3 but soon to be adding a 4thamp in the trunk of my car and had some questions I thought yall might be able to help with.
The system is as follows:
R series alpine speakers all around in the car, with two amps pushing them one is 4x100 and the other is 2x100.
Two infinity Perfect 10" subs in a custom box in the trunk with one amp pushing the at 250x2. I am thinking about adding another sub I have sitting around so I will be running the with 2 amps, 500x1 and 575x1.
I am just running three amps right now, but if I add the last 575x1 sub will it cause to much heat in the trunk, and will my 4 guage wire going from the battery to the trunk handle that much load. I just installed a 100amp fuse on the incoming line to my distribution box in the trunk. Any thoughts would be great.

First, It would help to have the model and brand of your amps.
Second, all those amps is a very poor idea. For the subs you should buy a single class D amp that is efficient enough to power the subs. Why on earth do you have 6 channels of amplified speakers in the cabin, do you have 5.1 surround?
Third, I pray that the third sub you are thinking of adding is another Perfect 10", if not do not add another woofer.

Sorry, I was having a retarded moment. I have oneamp(250x2) pushing the two subs right now, and am looking to have two amps pushing the two subs (I am not going to add anouther sub). Iwant the 6 channels of amplified speakers because I already have them in the car. I am running the front 4 amplified by the amp and the back two by just the deck (Like 17 RMS watts). So since I got a good deal on a 100x2 amp I thought I might as well get them all sounding good. That and I drive a convertible, so at 70 MPH it takes some watts to get the soudns clear (And me deaf).
I wouldn't waste any money on adding an amp for your rear speakers. Instead, look into getting some sound deadening to help reduce road noise.
I would recommend buying a single larger class D amp (around 1000 watts at 1 ohm) instead of running multiple class A/B amps. They are more effecientt and will put less strain on your electrical system.
