It doesn't work like that, but in general the larger the VC the better the bass response and power handling.

I'm not sure if those kickers will fit in the doors or not, especially without modifications. I'm sure they'd fit in the deck though. Any suggestions (besides the subs in the doors too)?

Why on earth are you going with crutchfield? That stuff can be purchased for far less or you can get better for cheaper!!!

Please read the information section regarding capacitors. They are great paper weights but serve no purpose in car audio.

You're not using 4 8's and 2 12's are you. I thought there were only two locations in the front for door subs.

Please save yourself some money and get better equipment by listening to us. Remember that I don't get a penny of what I recommend and that crutchfield guyis takinghis recommendationto the bank.

Why on earth do you need two more 8's in the rear deck? Did you already buy all that?

No, I just want different levels of bass, and with front stage it leaves the rear deck empty

Rear fill is not necessary. If the rear deck is empty and you take out the original speakers you allow your subs in the trunk to get bass to you easier.

1. There are many cheaper places to go than Crutchfield
2. Alpine are decent amps, for the money there is better out there.
3. RF subwoofers, although the Power series if I could find one cheap I would probably buy it, again there is far superior woofers out there for much less money
4. Capacitor, See my Information sticky, and go to the red lettering where it talks about capacitors.
5. Please tell me how much that all was going to cost you, I am building (planning) a system for my car right now and it's going to be around $1800 with me guessing for $300 fluctuation that will simply destroy a competing $5000 JL system.

P... I typed all this before even reading your post's my friend. We think too much alike. We are like brothers, but I have a larger weiner.
