Anybody got any suggestions for a system? I got about a $1000 im thinkin about spending. I want maybe 1 sub and a good system. Im planning on glassing the subsinto the corners of the trunk behind the wheel well. Theres a local retail shop that i think ill stop by tomorrow to see what they think would work but im not trying to pay a crazy amount for someone else to rape me at one of those places.

 

the place in town wanted 2000 to install 2 jlw6s so i said f that. Im looking for more than just bass. 2 w6s would be way too loud for me. I want a real system not just subs. Anyone wanna help?

 

i have a mtx comp 12 in a customem tube made for a mustang and a 1200 watt bazooka amp i just took out i am looking to possibly sell was 700 new but probably a lot less i could take

Your willing to drop a g. Wouldn't you rather have a complete system then just subs. I can recommend an entire system (especially if you already have an aftermarket HU) that for 1g will blow away anything you could buy for that price. I have 2 questions.

1. Do you have an aftermarkt HU? If not, I can still make some great recomendations.

2. What type of music do you listen too.

3. How much trunk space are you willing to give up?

 

Preal thats the thing, i want a real system not just subs. I dont have a head unit yet. And i listen to alot of stuff. Rap and chill music like jack johnson for example, two extremes i know, so it needs to kinda be flexible. I was thinking probably 1 sub and i would fiberglass it into the corner behind the wheel well and make an amp rack. I need suggestions im not looking for some huge bass machine with a huge ported box or anything i just want it to sound good. I dont need to win any sub competitions. Thanks, Eric

That totals around $1100 without wiring but is a stellar system. I would go ahead adn spend like $100 more and get some sound deadening from elemental designs as well.
