Default Big 3 Upgrade

I just ordered the kit from eD. Anyone know ofor have any good writeups on how to go about doing this. I don't want to pull the wrong wire and would feel better knowing exactly which wires are what when I dive in there.

Thanks!

All you are doing is basically replacing the primary wires that connect the battery. You can even just add additional wires if you like.

no just get a crimp conector with the hole to fit the temanal take it off put it through the bolt then bolt the termanil to the batt ot you could cut the wire and splice into it with the new one

I would recommend doing just that with high quality ring terminals. (They probilbly came with your kit)

I would also go ahead and replace the terminals with a good quality brass or gold plated piece.

Im 95% sure your kit came with the connectors, I cant imagine it cost $50 for three 4 ft. pieces of wire...

Are you being a manand going with1/0 ga?

Or are you a huge ***** and using 4 ga?

Yea I noticed it's got all of the connectors in the kit. Just wasn't sure about what gets hooked up where and if I needed to cut any OEM wiring.

I guess I'm being a huge ***** and using 4 ga but I asked eD which kit to get and that's the one they said to get for my set up. So I guess they a making me a *****...[&o]

I'm using 1/0 for around 1200 watts rms. Overkill puts hair on your chest!
