Default weird question?? Anyone know?

Hey guys i have an 88 gt that im upgrading the system in and im going to be running 110 watts to each of the speakers.. i was wondering if anyone knows what gauge speaker wire came stock in thefoxbodymustangs..Im guessing since the ford factory setup probably ran about 15 watts rms to the speakers..if that..itsprobably like 18 gauge.. so should i upgrade to 14 guage and if so how hard is it to run new speaker wire?

Not really true.

I am running an underrated50 watts rms per channel through orignial BMW wiring in my wifes car.

Here are the two questions that really matter.

What type of amp do you have that is putting out 110 watts per channel? How far away from the amp is each one of the speakers? There are wiring comparisons on a number of sites (including hifonics) that relate the resistance of a wire at a given lengh with the current flow through the wire. It is a very simple comparison.

I am actually planning on running a Hifonics Txi4406 110wattsx4 @ 2 ohms.. class A/B.. to a pair of 6.5" infinity components up front and a pair of 5x7 infinity coax. up front.. probably 4-5 feet away from the 5x7 and maybe 7-8 feet away from the fronts..
