Default original HU on 01 V6

Hello everyone. I wanted to know if the original 01 mustangs head unit needed to be replaced to connect a subwoofer to it... sorry if this is stupid question but i really dont know. Thanks.

as long as you can hook up an amp...it's possible...I haven't really heard of anyone ever doin that...I'm not sure with the 01s though..pretty sure you can't, that is why most people switch to Aftermarket HUs. There are some pretty cheap (not quality) ones out there I picked up a Pioneer DEH-1500 for $50 CAD just depends on what you wanna play...I don't do all that MP3 stuff and besides I have an FM transmitter so I can play it through my radio... You get better sound quality too with an aftermarket deck

yeah I reccomend that one...I personally like rotary *****...not a fan of all the buttons but I manage...but yeah thats a nice basic deck that doesn't really run ur wallet...nice choice how much was it goin for on Ebay?
