Hey everyone for christmas i got 2 sony explode subs 800 watts peak a piece. I need an amp. I would like to get a sony just to have a matching set. Let me know what you think would be good for me. Thanks

 

sorry, but sony sucks the bag...like extremely bad, i had a sony 10" with a mtx amp... but yes you may as well go with a sony amp, theres a 600 watt one, its red and black they are only like 130$ and actually make decent power. i suggest that one.

 

Yeah dude i dont like sony either...bad experiences with 2 subs right in a row turned me off of them. But the amp that dc mentioned should be fine

 

ok. i have had subs from them previously and they worked great. I also had an amp that worked awsome as well. I hope these work good too. Sorry about your bad experiences with sony. I was either gonna get Fosgates but the bestbuy guy said get the sony. Unlesss i wanted to spend so much to get level 3 for fosgates and i said no i am only 16 so these are fine.

 

the newer bottom line sony's absolutely suck...If your going to get sony you shouldve gotten the 1200W octagons that they have, i have those and they are awesome speakers. Look at the older style legacy amps they match up well with most of the sony's.

 

well i just got them for christmas. I put them in my car and used them a little bit. Should i try and take the back and get a diff kind.

 

take em back and spend a little more to get the 1200W sonys, i think best buy had a deal goin on em for a while.

 

some one said that i should get fosgates, Does any one have these?
