Default 200 amp Alternator too much?

Would it be too many amps for my 96 cobra?..I have a 1500 watt amp and 2 800 watt audiobahn 12s,and ive got the msd 8.5mm wires,ngk-tr6 spark plugs with the msd 4 tower coils...if thats too much for my setup..what would be the right one?..at idle my charging almost hits the red and its been stalling out..so just let me know..thanks...
