Never thought I would see a $100 budget from someone trying to find the "best" 10" woofer.

http://www.edesignaudio.com/edv2/pro...products_id=30$115.
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...TMA+T4002.html$100.

It's honestly hard to find a $200 amp thats not overkill in power for a $100 but this will work out pretty well

Or this little guy would actually be my pick. http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?...Product_ID=593$135
I think you misunderstood me, What I am looking to do is spend $100 per sub=$200 for the subs and spend $200 for the amps= $400 total for everything. I dont know much so if you think I have to spend more then let me know. I am trying to get the best bang for buck type deal. Please let me know if you know of any great subs, brands, setups, etc. Thanks

So you have a $600 budget for amps and subwoofers only?

$175 http://www.edesignaudio.com/edv2/pro...products_id=34Do the Dual 2 ohm configuration, pick a silver or black cone.

$220 http://www.edesignaudio.com/edv2/pro...products_id=45Subwoofer amplifier

You can package just those 2 things out at eD website on the right side go to package builder. And it's only $335

Or if you want to upgrade your whole system, do the same thing in the package builder but get an additional nine.2 amplifier and select 6500s component system. and then your still only at $699. So $100 over your budget but now you have a completly new system minus your headunit.

Thanks, I will check those out, but I would go with the first option because the total I want to spend is $400 on everything.I have never heard of Elemental Designs, are they fairly new?

http://www.soundoffaudio.com/item.cfm/id/2427This is the box that I have found that I think will be the best for me, because it fits my conv perfectly where I want it.Like I said I dont know much about subs, so how low im not sure because I dont know what 40-10 would sound like, maybe I should go into a store and ask them to play them for me so i can see, do you know of anywhere online that has clips of the sounds?? I know it wont sound the same but i could kinda tell the difference. What size sub do you have?

That package off Crutchfield is pretty weak. When I worked at a place that sold MTX, when we installed nearly that same package, 2-10" 4500's. I had about 3/4 of the people that bought them bring them back and say "I want to return this because it's barely louder than my stock system and I just paid $300 for it so I would expect more"

eD has been around for about 6 years or so. They are a small company that doesn't have any local dealers, they dont advertise, the money they make they spend on research, tools, and employees income. Which in turn makes it alot cheaper for the customer because they dont have to mark up equipment to raise the funds for reason such as marketing and dealer crap. They are a strait forward, no BS company. Actually there is an article on their website about JL calling them and trying to say they are noticing to many similarities between the W7 and eD's new 13Av2. Their argue ment is that the basket looks to much alike the W7. Which isn't a big deal because the owner of eD said if thats the case he will design and order new baskets. But the reason they are so pissed and trying to come after eD is because the 13Av2 will blow away a W7 and it cost less than half the price. Now im not saying eD is the company that makes the absolute loudest equipment, nor does it deliver absolutly audiophile sound quality (i.e. McIntosh, Brax, Audisonetc.) but they will just as good, and generally better in almost all cases to most of the big names like JL, Kicker, MTX, Alpineetc. and are obviously superior to brands like Rockford, Pioneer, Kenwood, JVC, Sony etc. But unlike all of those names they are insanly cheaper. So as far as great/awesome equipment and bang for the buck. eD is untouchable by 98% of the car audio market down to performance per dollar. And still they sound and get loud better than just about anything out there just short of the super high end brands I said above.

drw.... here's what I've got... a rockford 10 it cost me 80$$, a s-10 truck box 75$$ and an alpine mono block amp 250 watts max(bridged) that was 125$$ so that's 280$$$ and it hit's in my car... you wont hear me coming, but you'll feel it in the car... I also have a 400 (60 watts per channell)watt alpine with 5*7 audiobauns(rear deck)and 3 1/2(windsheild) audiobauns as well and a pair of 6 1/2 in my doors..
and that's plenty
