Default Free Air subs?

97 convertible and I want to keep as much truck space as possible. I need to upgrade my stereo system, and have everything worked out but the low end.

Having a huge box is NOT an option.

Has anyone used Free Air / Infinite Baffle subs? I never have, but am considering adding a single 12" to the truck for a little better bass.

I realize its a convertible and I wont get the best bass, but am looking to improve what I have with sacraficing as little truck space as possible..

Shortage on space... get 2 of these http://www.edesignaudio.com/edv2/pro...roducts_id=106

Build the smallest possible box for that and it's still plenty big. I dont even need to tell you required airspace. Just get that sub and go "How small can I make this box while still having 3/4 inch clearence from the magnet?" And you'll be in good shape.

Image dynamics makes some pretty nice woofers you can mount free air, but it would be much much easier to use a shallow mount ina truck box.

Thanks guys, but for me...

least amount of truck volume used is more important than ease of install
