I jsut got a polk db 27-200Hz 600 watt max sub and box. What amp should I get? I get discounts at my work so I'm gonna go with one of these. I probably don't want to get the DUEL, lol. But how do you think either of the $200alpines or the pioneer would sound? Not wanting anything to crazy. What would you all suggest. Thanks

Thanks, thats kinda the one I was leaning towards. Of course I wouldnt be puting out 800 watts on it. Just checked the price and I can get it for $104 which doesnt sound to bad.

 

I would take an alpine amp over a pioneer any day.

No. 1 amp per sub or go bigger on amp. AlpineMRPM450 would work to but would still have to buy two! I really see no diff in alpine and pio low end amps cheap amps are cheap amps no matter whos name is own it. Alpine high ends i will admit are better then pio's but Alpines high ends are overpriced and compared to the legit amp companys out there today can be beat in proformance and price. Alpine/MTX/RF/Pio's are all the same mainstream JUNK no matter how u try to slice it.

 

Do yourself a favor and check out some JL amps.

 

Thanks but I asked what one I should buy from that list so I can use my discount. I'd rather save more money for performance mods.
