Does the charge wire from the alternator run to the fuse box then to the battery?Thats the way it was hook up whenever i took it off but i just want to make sure thats right because i would think it would go to the battery then to the fuse box?So check out your stangs for me and let me know..thanks

 

im not sure offhand, if you can mention the year of your mustang i have a repair manual with wiring diagrams for 1979-1993 mustangs, i can look it up if i know what year yours is

edit:i checked my 89 mustang out and the alternator charge go's strait to the battery, as it does on any car ive worked on, so unless they changed it in the newer ones....you should be fine
