Default installing system with stock hu

how hard is it to install a system with the stock head-unit, it's a 6 cd changer but i need some bass. i'm wondering how difficult it's going to be to connect rca's and what not

I'd personally have it professionally done.
With the amount of wire splicing, speaker testing and harness locating.

it is not hard at all depenind on your skill level. It is nothing more then an amp install and there is a how-to site that has pics and walks you through it.

Oh sorry man I read that wrong, I thought it read installing a 6 CD changer.
Systems are cake. Just be sure to disconnect the battery terminals before proceeding.
You'd be suprised how fast your battery drains when hooking up a Amp + Subs.
