Default Factory Amp location

Hi all,

I just found this forum but had my stang for a while...

I bought a Head Unit from Crutchfield but didn't get the harness so I am attempting
to bridge the amp directly to the deck but cannot find the factory amp location for
my 1996 Mustang Convertible 3.8 V6....

Any help given would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks,
Roxi

hey there,
well about the time that u were posting this, i was finding the answer. if u look in the back seat, over the top and down u will see a little square of material that is velcrowed down. this is the baby seat attackment points. If u lift up on that point and look throught there u should be able to see one if not both amps. The amps are locatated between the seat and the back of your trunk wall on the floor. You can also take your trunksback wallout, its really easy cause its just a false wall, and the amps are right there. You have full access to them once you take them out.
