Leather for custom stereo install

is there any where to buy leather "carpet" like the carpet you would buy for a sub box, but made of leather of course.

yes.

vinyl is often a more cost effective alternative. you must make sure that the surface you are covering if perfectly smooth as it will not hide anthing like carpet. All you need is a good size piece of saw dust and it looks like a big zit.......
