Default Problem with burned CD's in Shaker 500

Ok so I just bought a '06 Mustang Coupe that came equipped with the Shaker 500 sound system. I know the manual says that it may have problems with some burned CD's, but the thing is, the CD's that I burn ALWAYS work the first time I put them in. Whenever I take them out, or switch to another CD and switch back, the player almost always says bad disc and spits the CD out. I have tried several different brands of recordable CD's to no avail. Some always work perfectly and some won't work at all. These are all recordable CD's with no labels either. This is just frustrating because I don't understand how my old '03 Altima and '05 RX-8 played any burned CD flawlessly when this newer car just spits them out. I have always relied on burned CD's for my car tunes and this is just annoying since the '06 model doesn't come with the MP3 player jack. Any help or suggestions are appreciated.

the reason the do not recommend putting them in there is that they have a tendency to jam with disks that have labels on them. Ford could care less if it plays the disks or not they just get annoyed when customers come back saying that the disks are stuck in the player and they need a tech to fix it........

I have never used a disc that has a label on it, nor have the CD's ever gotten stuck. 90% of them just simply won't play, whereas in my home system and other cars I have no problems at all.

I have found that sometimes CD players are particular about the type of disc. For instance, you can use a data CD to burn music onto and play, but you will find certain players that do not like data type disc. Are you using disc specifically made for music? also, not sure if this matters since you said it plays the disc in the begining, are you closing the discs after you burn them?

Yes I was closing the disc, and yes the new set of discs I bought are specifically for music. I found that after wiping the discs down with my shirt several times I could finally get them to play, even though they were brand new clean when I used them.. I guess I'll just have to deal with it.

when it says bad disc, press load again. it is annoying but it always works when it loads the second time unless its severly scratched.
