Default Help with replacing Mach stereo.

I want to get some new stereo equipment for my car. I want to replace the in-dash 6 CD changer head unit with a Jensen 7inch flip out LCD. What will I need to do to make this work with the stock speakers?

Same you would with any new radio.

2002 so you will need the double din mounting kit. And the normal wiring harness.

You can find all of this out easily on a site such as Crutchfield, I would then go buy the parts at Wal-mart, or you can find them pretty cheap online if you are willing to wait a few days.

So I should have no problems with the factory amps? I do not need to bypass them to use the stock speakers and tweeters with a after market stereo?

If you have the Mach system, read my Sticky and you will see the part you will need to integrate your new unit to a Mach's amplifier system.

It's in bold red lettering under "How do I hook up an aftermarket headunit to my Mach system?"

Good title isn't it?

Well, yes I know that, I was just trying to clarify whether or not that wire uses the stock speakers and amp. But I see that it does so thanks.

No problem, let us know if you have any other questions.

I would also recommend reading through alot of that sticky, alot of general information in there. May save you alot of time and headaches in the future.
