Well i tried to hook up an ipod adapter kit in my 02 GT which didn't work too well. When i went to take off the connection of the plastic shifter plate connected to the car lighter i used a small screwdriver and saw a spark...I forgot to unplug the battery. The car lighter wont work now and i tried the fuse but its good. Help please?

 

check ALL the fuses not only the ones listed for the lighter. They like to link circiuts so often you will find a fuse that would seem to have nothing to do with what you expected. Don't forget the fuse box under the hood.

There are two metal pins that the hrns sticks onto and you are not the first person to stick a screwdriver between then to remove the hrns. A hook tool works better.
