Audio/Visual Electronics Wired up? Everyone's got some sort of electrical modification... let's hear about it here.

Any one have advice for trouble with amp/sun install?

Default Any one have advice for trouble with amp/sun install?

I have a 89 vert and recently had an amp/sub installed at a local shop. After that I had trouble with charigng system. I took out the fuse for the amp and had the problem fixed at a shop. Now i have no amp though, any body have a simialr problem or any solution for me???

I would take it back to the audio shop and make them fix it. If sounds like they did a poor install.

Are the subs and amp taking alot of power from the battery? If so Buy a capacitor It will help hold more power for the subs and recharge the system faster

caps are a band aid for a much bigger problem. You can cover it up but why not fix it?

Check your factory grounds. They are next to the battery and normally fairly small and by now VERY corroded.
