I'll be listening to my music and if I turn a corner a little too sharp or barely turn a little or go over a bump it goes out and comes back on when I turn or go over a bump again. The speakers and sub both go out. What is going on?


I have a JVC headunit with the compatible wiring harness for the mach 460
stock speaker and amps
10inch infinity sub
crunch 1000w amp

It sounds like you have a loose connection.

I would check over every connection starting from the battery to the amp.

 

Definitely sounds like a wire is loose.

It usually happens to me at the amp.

But only my subs would go out.

 

LOL. Does it happen when you are listening to the radio? Or just the cd player. Because if it is only the cd player...it is probably just skipping. If it does it with the radio too, then you probably have a loose connection on the back of the HU since both the stock speakers AND subs cut out.

 

Could it be the remote wire?

 

Maybe.

Like I said verify all your connections are tight!

 

Could be, but the door speakers being ran off the HU wouldn't cut out if the remote wire was loose.....right?
