So, putting all of my sound equipment into my new GT, and I'm having the EXACT same problem I had with my v6. I simply CANNOT get the bolt that holds the positive terminal together off (to put the amp power ring terminal in it).

My roommate did it somehow last time, and you would think that just turning it would get it off, but nope.

The bolt looks like its about to come out of the bottom part of it, and the bolt turns, but it doesnt go anywhere and makes a clicking sound.

Anything im just dumb and missing here?

Were youturning the bolt the wrong way?

Righty tighty, lefty loosey.

 

As it turns out, I didnt see the little metal flap that covered the top of the washer-part of the bolt, bent it up, came right out.
