Can some one tell me how these amps are or recommend a better on in there price range?

I would honestly go with a Hifonics amp with what your doing, you need something around $250 or less and need around 1000 watts.

Or if you are going with the pair of 13Ov2's, you can use eD's package builder and get the sweet discount on the woofers and an amp. If you total out the 2-13O's and a NINe.1 you end up totally a tad over $607.

And if you buy just the woofers for $350 and then that Hifonics amp for $250 your at $600 anyway.

I would run a NINe.1 anyday over a Hifonics.

If your doing sound deadening through eD, you get an even bigger discount...

It's all up to you though man, just wanted to lay out your options.

 

seight all great info what is the power rating of the nine.1 ? At 607 ill buy all one company at my budget???? what quality is elemental designs??? Can you compare how loud it will be to something else?

At the same install quality, it would be just as loud as an L7 setup, easily.

eD is by no means audiophile sq, and they arent too widely used in many big SPL competitions. But all in all they give great sq, spl and sql. Bottom line they are a bang for the buck company more than anything. They can hang with just about anything else out there, granted your not spending $1k+on a woofer or $1500+ on an amplifier.

Your money wont go further with just about anything else out there than it will with eD equipment. Their component speaker line is pretty mediocre right now, but otherwise they have a full line of equipment to fit just about anyones budget. And destroy anything you could pick up at Best Buy. You could purchase the highest dollar of everything at Best Buy and you could run all eD equipment plus a decent headunit for under a $1000 compared to the $2500-$3000 you could spend at BB and there is no comparison.

Call them talk to them, chat on their online thing. They not only have great product, they are one of the most customer oriented businesses I have ever seen. I have walked through, picked up, touched, felt, cranked up everything in their showroom, everything in the warehouse, everything on the production line, been in the woodshop with the mezmerising CNC machine they have. And that was back even before I even considered owning eD. After what I have experienced with them in the past few months, I always look towards them first when I need something new for my car, then start comparing to other companies because I know they are always going to be in the runnings for what I decide to buy in the end.

And hey they are honest too, anytime I have called and said I can get this for this price or your product for this price, what do you think. I have heard "Buy that!" and I have heard "Ours is better and this is why".

They are building a box for me for a Brahma here soon. I cant think of too many places that would be so thrilled about building an enclosure for one of your biggest competitors (or former).
