Default AVIC-D3 Install- Help needed right away!

Well, I have been reading about the installation for about 2 weeks now, I'm doing it tonight (in middle of it right now) but I need urgent help. I bought the FD03B connector the sticky advertised (Schoshe, or w/e...), but it doesn't seem to fit correctly. Here is the pic:

Any help is appreciated.

On the plus side- once I figure all this crap out, I'll try to do a full write up with pics for the installation.

Thanks in advance!

You need to get the hookup from Crutchfield. I'm not even joking, just call them and the get the parts you need for the install. www.crutchfield.com

Don't feel bad. I ordered that same piece almost a month ago now, got it, and then come to find out it does not fit. I ordered the "right" one (supposedly) from a local shop last Monday and am supposed to pick it up tomorrow. I hope to god it is the right piece.

You guys need to read, it says it should be similiar to that piece. It's not that exact one for any/all Mustangs ever. Im sorry to anyone who bought that assuming it fit their car. Thats what fits the SN95's. And some 99-04's too I believe, not all of them though.

I looked through the book at the local shop I went to, and supposedly there are three different plugs for 99-04 Mustangs, mine being one of the rarer ones.
