Default ohms

can someone explain to me what ohms are?
i think i know but im not positive

is it when the 2 subs (obviously have a total of4 wires both with one + and one -) connect to a terminal on the back of the box and have one + and one - which then go to the amp?

im basically saying in the 2nd paragraph is it like taking both positives (1 from each sub) twisting them together then putting them in the positive slot on the amp and doing the same for the negative? does this make it 2 ohm?

no.
take your + speaker wire and put it on 1 side of the sub. take the - of the same wire to the - ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE of the sub. take 6" of wire and run it into the last 2 remaining terminals. 2ohms FTW

so i connect the positive to the negative and the negative to the positive then connect a wire to one of those and connect the wire to the amp? and do this for each sub>?

do exactly what my picture shows for each sub.the pink wier that says to amp goes into your amp terminal. its only 1 + 1 - like any other speaker wire.
