Default question on installation on system

i have a system from another car that i want to put in my 04 gt. a few questions so im not screwin my car up. is there an easy way of getting the wire from the battery to the box through the firewall with out having to drill? also do most of the interior pieces just snap off? lastly does anyone know what wire i would need to hook up the rca wires to the head unit since i still have the stock one? thanks

i had to drill a hole in the fire wall for the power wire make sure you run your rca's on the other side of the car as you power wire, it will help keep down on the noise

I drilled a hole in my fire wall, but make sure that you buy a rubber grommet to but between the metal and the wire, cause eventually the metal will rub through the plastic cover on the wire. To install the RCA cables and a remote wire here is what you do. For the RCA's buy a line out converter, and follow the directions. You just tap into your rear speaker wires. Then plug the RCA's into the line out converter. And on the remote wire, just run it to a wire that only becomes hot when the car is turned on.

I replaced all the speakers in my 04, and the deck. Let me know when you need help in those areas - todd_keagle@yahoo.com.

Thanks to this forum, I was able to do it on my own without breaking much, and saved about $100.
