hey guys, i have an 88gt, and i just put new heads on it today...along with the mods i am currently doing i am adding underdrive pullies and was wonder if that is going to be a problem with my system. i have a stock alternator with a 900watt amp and 800watt sub...is this gonna be a proble, and if it is how much of one, would a cap. help?, or should i buy a better alternator? thanks-

 

How many amps is your stock alternator?? I'm not familiar with 88's. I could possibly help if I knew your current output on your Alt.

 

80 if i remember right

 

Your alternator can put out a maximum of 960 Watts...you're on the hairy edge.

 

a cap can't hurt!
