Looking to buy this....
Hey guys, I'm sick and tired of my mach 460 headunit!! It keeps on eating up my cd's and is a real pain in the ***...
Therefore, I decided to purchase an aftermarket radio.I want one with an "aux in" in frontof the receiver.
I was leaning towards thePIONEER DEH-P2900MP CAR CD/MP3 PLAYER FITS IPOD/XM/AUX (for 120$ shipping included to canada)
Is it a good head unit? Will it fit with my sound system? Does it require any special wiring?
Any other suggestions or comments?
Any advice would be really appreciated,
Thanks,
Nick

its not gonna be the best by any means but it will work fine.
youll have to buy a wiring harness (its like 15$ at best buy) and thats it. youll have to remove one of the wires from ur factory harness and wire it to the amp turn on on your deck, theres a how-to somewhere.

You don't need to cut anything. Just get these two harnesses and just match the colors...

In the second harness kit you'll only be using the bigger white harness, not the black one. Note the two blue wires (one with a white strripe), those both need to be connected to a seperate turn on wire (the antenna and the actual amplifier turn on wire)
I got a head unit with a rear RCA aux input and got the adapter for the single prong and ran it into my glove box, looks much cleaner and is super easy on mustangs....
