Default Eclipse head units

I have decided to go with an Eclipse head unit, DVD/nav, for my 06 GT. I was researching the 3 different models on crutchfield.com and other than pricing I can find no differences between the 900 and the 1400 dollar models. Anyone know what some of the main differences are on these units and recommend one over another. Thanks guys!

Do the comparison thing, it should be pretty simple to find the differences.

If you want one that has everything I would suggest the AVN6610, awesome source for sure.

I honestly would not look at a deck with nav in it mang. Most phone companies are going the way of verizon with the nav systems and I would recommend you go that route for nav. My mother just showed me on her phone. There is no software to upgrade(in phoenix the roads are changing so fast with the expansion growth we have) as well as hardware upgrade, and you have it with you all the time. Save your $$$ there mang.........

That is exactly what I did, "the comparison thing" and the onlyoption that showed up as being different was a security code for the 2 more expensive untis, everything else was exactly the same. Surely I'm missing something but what I don't know??

The vehicle speed sensor is not required for operation of the AVN-5500 if you don't want to worry the NAV showing your speed.
