I just got a 06 GT with the Shaker 1000 system. Sounds decent, but sometimes the bass from the subs are too much... And my only options are lowering the bass on the head unit, or turning off the shaker... Which sucks. I'd like my subs on, just not so frickin' powerful.
Is there anyway to lower the volume, on JUST the sub?

Also, since I didn't get the manual... What does the "compression" and "speed volume" and "track mode" or "folder mode" do? I've been toggling between them and don't hear any difference.

modify the bass, you've already found the other options... use UP, DOWN, LEFT,RIGHT after pressing menu to get to these options...

Speed Volume - Increases volume the faster you go

 

Yeah but modifying the bass through the head unit takes away from the lower frequencies in the rest of the speakers and makes the linear frequency of the system more unbalanced,,,
