Default Eclipse components decent?

Hey guys! I need more bass in my car when the top is down and was thinking about installing a 3 way component set. I found an eclipse set for $350 on woofers etc. are these decent or should i save up some or make my own set. I was thinking of combining eD 6000v.2's with 7kv.2's. Ideas?

I do know the sc82s are fairly impressive, but cant help at the 83s. an obvious guess is that they will be alot nicer.

This will be my first time working with glass, but i am fairly confident that i will be able to get it to turn out well. Are you planning on documenting it and posting it in your cardomain site? If you do let me know, when i do mine it would be great to have some resources to pull on.

Also, do you think that replacing the stockers with a 3 way like this will increase my bass when the top is down? Otherwise i was thinking of going with some tw oways and 7kv.2's. What do you think? The alternative method would be powered off some sort of 4 channel.

the only way you will get more bass with the top down is to move the sub closer to you, make it as big as possible and feed it an infinite amount of power and hope it does not blow.

I have stopped posting build pics on the cardomain site as it has been getting too large at 9 pages and growing now I am taking buildpics for anyone that is curious and will be happy to help. I have the kicks done and they are ready to cover. I am need to finish my rear deck cover as it will hold the cross overs for the 3 ways. My parents are in town right now or I would be sanding on all of it now.
