My cd player in my 98 GT sucks. Its the mach 460 stock one. It skips like crazy, even with a brand new cd with no scratches, a cd that plays fine in other cars. It plays fine when im sitting there at a red light or something. But once in a while when I give the car gas it starts skipping like crazy till i let off, and even when im not sometimes it just randomly starts skipping with a fine cd. WTF!!!!

 

i had a big thread going about my 03 mach 460 and man that thing turned out to be a POS! i guess the cd changer broke or something but i swapped it out, if i was you id do the same!

 

yeah, it sux. eventually will try and keep your discs when you hit eject. ditch, its not hard. i promise. pm ttocs or check out the second page of his sig. he's really good withsn95 audio equipment and can give you an in depth walk through, including what harnesses you'll need.
