need help quick

I just recived my mtx amp from ups. i hooked it up and now the sub is poping badly when i turn down the radio, change station, turn on/off. I have a panasonic h/u as well.

you should not have the gain set all the way up. no more then 2/3 to 3/4 full volume.

the gain is not set all the way up. i did have this problem with my old amp after i put the h/u in.

try wiggling your rca's on each end and see if it makes any noise. You might have a bad cable.

Give a complete list of all the equipment in your car. I don't want size shape or color, I want #'s.....
