OK so i dont know anything about car audio and want to put new speakers in. So i need help on sizes of all the speakers and brands to go with. Im not interested in putting in subs or anything i just want a nice sound system for the stang and any knowledge you can pass on to me will help. thanx alot

they are 6 by 8's front and rear. whats your budget? do you already have a new head unit? i would suggest buying one if yo werent planning on it cause it wont do you a whole lot of good to get speakers and an amp and keep the crappy stock deck.

Stock deck is the weakest point of alot of factory systems, just because it will only sound as good as the signal coming out of the deck. You can get a nice deck (pioneer, alpine, whatever) and some 6x8's (alpine, infinity, mb quart, whatever) all for 5 hondo.

agreed, start at the radio and work your way back. Does it have a stock mach system?

because I really dont listen to CDs thatmuch. Any advice on what to do?

Lol, biggest waste of time and money ever, get an aftermarket deck with ipod control and ditch the drive and play
