Default Stereo Install Troubles

In the process of installing a new head unit ( Jensen Phase Linear) in my 2001 GT, Has the MACH 460 system. Unhooked the stock head unit and had to unplug 2 plus from the back of the unit. New unit only uses one of the plugs. When I turn the system on it doesnt sound like the amps are on. What am I doing wrong or better yet what do I need to do?

You need to use both plugs. If you only use the main one then you are only powering your tweeters. The second smaller plug is the amp turn on and grounding to your mid-woofers. You need to get both plugs, and connect the blue/whites to the switch input/remote off the back of your aftermarket.

you will need to buy a hrns that will plug into the hrns's that you unplugged, and then wire those into the hrns that you have for the radio. I am sure somebody has the hrns model # that you need, don't let BBY sucker you for the $50 hrns.........
