Default Removing stereo

I bought an radio removal tool made by Dashworks is supposed to work for most fords but didn't fit when i tried to remove the 6-disc changer in my '02 GT convertible... anyone know what tool i need to take it offso that i canget to the audio input???

does your radio have 2 little holes on either side of the deck?

you dont need the 'U'-shaped tool. its junk. you have to take apart center dash. start with the part around the gear shift, it pops right off. then the rest off the center dash. there are two bolts that hold to the center console. get them out and just pull the radio out. btw, just so you know, the mach system doesnt have RCA inputs, only outputs.

the mach system doesn't have rca inputs or outputs......... You can add an input with the changer input hrns if that is what you mean but there ain't anything for rca's on the back of ANY ford radio.
