Default DNX7100 - help with latest iPods

Hey everyone,

I have a 2006 Mustang GT and recently installed the Kenwood DNX7100. Well, I was wondering if anyone has installed this and tried hooking up one of the newer iPod models; I have the "classic." Anyways, I had a nano 1st gen, and everything worked fine. Well, with the new iPod, the screen shows a load error when displaying album art for the songs. I have the cable that hooks up the USB/audio/video signals, but maybe it's just a software thing not being compatible with the newer iPods? Hopefully someone else has tried this. Thanks!

I have a DNX7100, and a newer IPOD nano. It works fine for me. Have you updated the Nano to the newest version by chance?

I have the iPod Classic, my old (1st gen) nano worked fine with it; I don't have the nano anymore though. My Classic has the latest software though.

Also, does your screen sync (dim) with turning the lights on? I know the orange "illumin" wire needs to be hooked up to something other than the orange wire on the conversion harness, I'm just not sure where.
