Curious if anyone knows if I can buy the grommet or base for the antenna on my 'stang? I don't need a new antenna just the base/grommet that makes the antenna sit flush and straight. When this car was bought, the car lot had been vandalized and there seemed to be an attempt at trying to break of the antenna. They succeeded in busting up the cowl panel which I need to replace soon, as I am hoping to sale this '98 soon and get a 2000. Will I have luck at a Salvage yard finding the cowl and maybe the antenna part?? I was told I would have to buy directly from the dealer. [:'(]

sure you can buy the base, it comes with the antenna. I don't know anyone that sells them seperate.

You might be able to sweet talk your local best buy installer out of one if you ask nicely. Just tell em how you like their jeans with no rivits, I hear they are easy......
