eD 13Ov.2
Profile AP1200 (off of ebay)

dead nuts on $300

oh yeah, you still need to build a box and buy a wiring kit.....

ok....
P's suggestion is actually a GREAT value. I picked up two of those for my HT setup....

If I had $250 to spend on just a sub and amp and left another $50 for box building and wiring, i would go with this...

If you want to go super cheap....

2 X http://www.edesignaudio.com/edv2/pro...roducts_id=183= $45 after shipping. Get the two ohm version.

http://ikesound.com/product-product_id/2839= $55

That will more then likely kill those W0's as well and cost $120 less after you throw in $30 to build the box!

FYI, I just ordered two of those woofers and total came to under $40 shipped. I cannot wait to get them going!

P, what are you planning on doing with yours? I'm going to be creating a monstrous HT sub. dual downfiring.

Not too sure yet.

Maybe both in the mustang, maybe both for HT, maybe one for each. Its just a nice toy to have lying around.

I'm willing to bet that with your experience level, I wouldn't worry about it.

In all seriousness, those woofers are the equivalent of a W0 and you can buy them for $13.50 a peice. I ordered two this morning and they have over 400 orders to fill before mine go out next week. He said they have 15 pallets of those woofers in stock, but that the single4 ohm versions were about to be taken off the discount.

The speakers can easily handle a couple hundred watts, and although they are not the best woofer in the world, they will desrtoy any other woofer that cost $13.50. It will provide bass and sound decent. I'll take pics and compare it directly to my repaired W0 if you would like when I get them next week.

Holy crap! That's a nice value for $13.50. I might be tempted to grab a few--maybe.

Good stuff.
