make sure that you have a good connection. if the wire that is sparking is shorting out somehow, that could cause the spark and the overload. check your ground wire and if you need to, take a metal file to remove any corrosion. this happened to me on my mach 1 and that's how i fixed it

and after that try disconnecting the sub and then replacing the fuse and powering it up. If your speaker wires are shorted it could cause this as well.

is it a new install? if so you may have ur subs wired 2ohm and ur amp isent stable at 2ohm and olny 4ohm. so ya you would wire ur sub 4ohm which suck compared to 2ohm

i have had it hooked up for a while. I think it has something to do with the ground wire, everytime the fuse blows there is a spark from the ground wire right near the screw. the screw was loose, im guessing this is the problem but i dont know how to fix it

try to tighten the screw? if you can swap the screw out for a bolt and nut because the screw can back out over time and get loose.

My .02

1. Theres a short in your power wire at some point, could have rubbed on just about anything and be repeatedly shorting out and popping your fuse.
2. Your amp is smoked. Were you beating on the system just prior to this happening?

if your ground is loose then that is your problem. Follow the sparks........
