Can i put after market subs in place of the stock 10's on the MACH 1000 system. If so, what ohm subs do i get. The system is in a 2003 GT.

 

I would replace them with subs of the same resistance. To check the resistance on the subs take them out and look on the back of the sub. The resistance should be printed on the magnet. If not, take a multimeter and check their resistance that way.

 

Everything I've read says they are 4 Ohm DVC (duel voice coils).

 

then just replace them with 4 ohm dvc subs and make sure there the kind you really want in the future
