I want to put an mp3 player in my 06 Gt,but have heard wild stories about messing the gauges and dash electronics up.I have a couple questions:
1.Does the player have to be an Apple brand ?
2. What is the best hardwire hookup for the 06 Gt,that will work with no problems??

 

I don't know who you have been talking to about gauges, not heard that myself.....

 

Again not heard any stories regarding interference with the dash electronics - if it worries you too much then burn an MP3 CD or use, dare I say it, an FM modulator (not the best way by any means but would put any concerns to one side...along with sound quality).
