Boxless Bass
Thanks everyone so much. The 6.5 inch 2 way speakers, they require a little fabrication to fit into the door correct. Will those subs fit directly into the rear deck. Sorry guys, this might be a mistake, but i am pushing for the air box style. Has anybody ever made a miniture box using the deck lid?
ttocs has, he made up one that housed 4-6" MBQ's I believe.
Those 8" eD's are designed to function in a free air application. You could do them free air, you could also try and make a small enclosure and mount it to the rear deck lid. If you are going to go with 2 of those 8", you may want to get a 2 channel for your front stage and a separate one for your woofers. The 4 channel isn't going to work out best for running the front stage and 2 woofers.
Just an idea but you could look into using a SQ10, require a rediculously small .3 cube enclosure and require a little less power than the 8" ones. You could make a box that runs the width of your backseat, and the total height from the floor to your rear deck, and still only make it about 4" deep and that will easily be to spec. and your only losing those 4". With dimensions like 30x14x4, which im almost positive will fit right in there, your just under 1 cube, and you could even put 2 SQ10's in then, and remember your only taking up 4" of depth out of your trunk, which isn't much for the amount of output your going to get.

If you wanted to know what I was talking about.
Just throwing out another option for you. I'd hate to see you get something in there and then a week later you see something you would have liked much, much more.
