I dropped my car off at stereosales to get my system installed. I told them that for the sub that I just wanted them to install it in the back of the trunk, where it is raised due to axel clearance.

He told me that he really liked the way the red leather hit the tungsten gray....and asked if he could take pictures and put them on his website.

Then by the end of the day they called me and said they had everythign together but the sub box and they were going to put that in tomrrow. also said not to ask any questions becuase they cant tell me what they are doing to the subbox, its top secret and they would have to kill me. i was a little surprised, but they are making it so when i fold the seats down the sub faces in the car...and something visual with the box....what could they be doing?!?!?!?!

This is the same place that did T-pain's and Ricky Carmichael's car, they do all sorts of nuts fiberglass work.

 

sounds like they are stallin to me.... You have not pissed these guys off in the past have ya? That suprise could be a tuna sandwich behind one of your panels to get even[:-]

i actually did that. but i made it out of wood. just angled it properly and it goes right up against it. the problem is securing it down. i don't know how to :P

 

Did u go to stereosales just because they worked tpain and ricks car? I hope not, because those guys aren't really the best and I'm sure they'll be charging you an arm and a leg I've. Had experience with those dicks before

 

when I thought about it honestly I realized that they are trying to stall.... You happened to hit them on the busiest time of the year when EVERYONE is booked a week or two ahead. Most shops will try and load up on as many cars as they can and sometimes end up keeping one a day or two extra. There might be something small that they did to try and make it seem worth the wait but most shops right now are too busy to do extra "top secret" stuff.

You guys are too negative. I'm sure if they were backed up they wouldn't make more work for themselves by promicing something special and extra to be done. Sounds like the guy liked your interior color and will probably cover the box to match it.
