Right now I have 2 12" pioneer subs. I think they are 300 watts rms and 500 watts max each. I have them powered by a bazooka 500 watt amp. I want to sell my pioneers and get the New kicker compvr12's which are rated at 400 watts rms and 800 watts max. Since Im low on money i think im just gonna buy the subs first and then power them with my amp i have right now. Now the question is, will these new subs hit harder than my old subs powered by the same amp? I will eventually get a kicker 800 watt amp or something, when I save up a lil more money. But what do you guys think. I was just thinkin about it and i couldnt answer my own question lol. Worst case scenario I just get them all at once. Any help will be appreciated thanks.

 

id get the amp first, that amp u have blows. get a rockford amp, imo best amps ever made, and decent priced! i had the p2002 and it POUNDED my 2 10" pioneers 700W each..

 

Yeah I dont really care for fosgate. Their good quality products but too expensive in my opinion. yeah my amp isnt that great but im surprised how good it works with my subs, and I got it for free. i just want new subs and amp so i can have a full kicker system. WOO WOO!!

NOT ON EBAY!!!! I went to best buy yesterday and they had a 400 watt max power for $350.00. On ebay i can get an 800 watt rms kicker amp for the same price.... Plus I want kicker everything not kicker kicker kicker, rockford...
